15/02/08 – First coffee-talk series with Jose Leandro Mateos Hernández

In this coffee-talk, we will have the opportunity to hear speaker Jose Leandro Mateos, a former ESIDE student, who is currently working in Silicon Valley. This (interactive) meeting will allow us to know the reality of Silicon Valley, and explore entrepreneurship and innovation in greater depth, based on the personal experience of our guest speaker.
 

 
07/03/08 – Coffee-talk session with Fernando Trías de Bes

In the second coffee talk session, we will have the opportunity to listen to Fernando Trías de Bes, founder and managing partner of Salvetti & Llombart, a consultancy firm specialised in strategic and business research at international level. In his latest book, “El libro negro del emprendedor”, Fernando Trías de Bes identifies 14 key factors of failure that explain why a large number of entrepreneurial enterprises fail to consolidate.
 

11/04/08 – Coffee-talk with AJEBASK

The third coffee-talk series will be attended by Gustavo Antépara, Chairman of Ajebask, and Amaia Castro, Director of this association. Gustavo and Amaia will give us their view on entrepreneurship in the Basque Country: they will talk about the Young Entrepreneurs’ Association in the Basque Country and its activity; about the entrepreneurial profile in the Basque Country; and self-employment; they will also talk about business ideas and the new sources of employment; they will explain the current business start-up grants, and finally, they will provide us with some examples of entrepreneurship in the Basque Country.
